Sunday Jan. 2, saw Kate & I having brunch at the Churchmouse & Firkin on Church Street.before heading out on our bikes to the Music Garden at Harbourfront. We made the cold trip down through lightly trafficked streets to the water and to visit a friend who lives on his sailboat in the Harbour West Marina in front of the Music Garden. There was a definite lack of seagulls (usually seen in flocks dive-bombing us) as we fed the ducks.
The geese must have gone to the island for the weekend too as there were none there. The swan family we usually feed must have gone to the island too.
After a while we cruised the waterfront trail down to Sugar beach and then north to the pit stop for warmer temps and hot coffee, before heading for home!. 8km.
