Ride Of Silence 2011

The weather for this memorial ride was perfect. No rain, a bit windy on the way home, and mild enough for no jackets. The ride started at 7:10pm from Spadina & Bloor and rode east along Bloor very slowly, (just fast enough to keep upright), moving silently along taking only one lane and keeping in a mass. Thirty cyclists took the ride as we turned down Yonge street obeying all traffic laws. Then west on Queen Street to the Trinity Church Square behind the Eaton Centre for the memorial; (normally the ride finishes up at the Peace Garden at Nathan Phillips, but it is being renovated this year).

That's me in the pics in the bright blue jacket on my yellow beachcruiser, incidentally, the only beachcruiser on the ride.
